Computer Resolved, Fingers Not

I have not posted anything for so long because I had computer issues, which by the grace of our glorious God in His precious providence, I’ve needed that time for prayer, meditations in His Word, pastoral duties, and some much-needed time attending to my wife and my family.

Although my computer situation has been resolved (thanks to the gracious kindnesses of some very beloved saints), my posts will still be sparse for a while because I have been dealing of late with some dexterity problems, particularly with typing. It comes and goes so there are certainly times when I can type. Nevertheless, in setting certain priorities, I must save the moments when I can type for some other more pressing issues, articles and projects.

With that said, I’m not leaving the blog world altogether. There are posts hither and yon that will appear even during this brief reprieve. Yet, for the most part, it will not be as regular as it had been.

I continue to covet your prayers and do sincerely thank you for praying for me.

By God’s grace and for His glory,

  1. Brother Jon,

You’re in my prayers. Hope you’ll post as God enables.

  2. I will pray for you, my dear brother, and look forward to your posts whenever you are able to share them with us. I know that God is pleased to help you in all that you do for His glory. Grace and love!

  3. Brother Jon, you are in my prayers as well. You have been a great blessing to me and I can’t wait to fellowship with you face to face someday. (Here or There) I can identify with you a little. At this time I can’t make a fist with my right hand without my index finger locking up on me. Most of the time now it is painful to “unlock”, which I do with my other hand. My issue can be resolved with a very painful injection of Cortizone (of which I am avoiding).
So when my trigger finger locks – I will be reminded to pray for my dear brother in Christ.
You may look a little, on the inside, like Claude Akins or Guy Williams, but inside you look a lot like Jesus Christ.

    • my dear dear brother. you always bring a smile to my face and great joy to my heart.

  5. To everything there is a season and a time and purpose for every activity under heaven. (Ecc 3:1).

  6. Praying much for you! Been following and being blessed from early Vayahiy days!

    • thank you so much. did not know there were still some of you vayahiy followers out there in cyberspace 🙂 one of my friends from the old vayahiy days said that my blogging was enough to cause them to give up the computer and all other technology for good, cold turkey.

anyway many thanks again for your prayers and for your post… and many many blessings to you
