Sovereign Grace Baptist Pastors Fellowship

DeanOliveI had the blessed privilege of attending the Sovereign Grace Baptist Pastors Fellowship hosted by Pastor Dean Olive and Grace Baptist Church in Madison, Alabama this past Thursday, March 21, 2013.

Because my health had been so poor in the past, I was unable to attend other meetings hosted by churches here in the south that have been held by churches in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. This particular fellowship was started some 35 years ago by Terry Worthan, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston, Georgia and late Dr. Ferrell Griswold, who ministered as pastor of several churches in Birmingham.

There was exceptional preaching of the word of God for all, but most especially for ministers of the gospel. The preachers this week were Darrell Lingerfelt, pastor of Providence Baptist Church in Pulaski, Tennessee, Chad Beck, pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Orlinda, Tennessee, and Dr. Sam Waldron, Professor of Systematic Theology at Midwest Center for Theological Studies.

Click on the name of the preacher to hear their messages from the popup MP3 player.

Darrell Lingerfelt, “I Am Not Ashamed” (2 Timothy 1:12)

Sam Waldron, “Perseverance of the Saints” (1 Timothy 4:16)

Chad Beck, “Seven Years of Being a Pastor” (Exodus 32)
